Hudson Street Stackhouse is owned and operated by the DeSantis family whose history in the bar and restaurant business dates back to the days of prohibition. Offering the best of the Baltimore tradition with a fresh, creative flair, the Stackhouse offers great food and drink in a casual and welcoming neighborhood setting.
The Stackhouse location offers a blend of old town neighborhood charm and convenient access (and parking) for patrons seeking a casual, delicious lunch or dinner, a good brew with a game of bubble hockey, or a night of food/drinks with friends. Get directions to the Stackhouse…
Completely renovated, the bar highlights the best architectural elements of the working class neighborhood, featuring a concrete floor, exposed brick walls, tin ceilings, and a fully-appointed kitchen. Renovation help came from Sculptor David Hess, who has several pieces outside the American Visionary Art Museum. Artifacts from the American Can Company (just across the way) adorn the walls along with black and white photos of bars from Baltimore’s past.
The Stackhouse invites you to “belly up” and relax at their large, C-shaped bar, strategically placed right up front near the windows to maximize people watching. Our inviting bar features an impressive riveted-steel beer-tap island (designed by David Hess), with a dozen of your favorite beers on tap, and plenty more in the bottle. The bar features six flat-screen TVs with both Direct TV and Comcast cable, if the people-watching gets slow. With the NHL Center Ice, NFL Sunday Ticket and ESPN College Game Day there’s alway a game to watch. Check out the drinks menu…
Our dining area sits behind the bar section so you can gather with friends for a quick bite and a laugh or a planned occasion. Dominic welcomes parties and large groups — just give a yell so we can plan for ya. Order from our full menu of appetizers, soup/salads, sandwiches and entrees or check out the specials, then sit back and enjoy!
